Your privacy choices
We don’t sell your information. We do use the Meta pixel (from the company behind Facebook and Instagram). It shares which of our pages you visit, whether you sign up for our emails, and a few steps on our home page, ad landing page, email pop-up and booking form (such as whether you tapped the email box or reached payment, but not what you type), with Meta so we can measure and target our ads. When you sign up, that can include a scrambled (hashed) copy of your email address. When you book a stay on our site, we also tell Meta that you booked and the total you paid, with a hashed copy of your name and email and your browser details (IP address, browser type and Meta’s cookies). If you book with us through another booking platform, we may send Meta a hashed copy of your name and contact details with the booking total. Under California law, that counts as “sharing” for advertising, and you can opt out of it here.
Opting out here stops the pixel on this site (and Microsoft Clarity, our site-analytics tool, which follows the same choice) and stops us telling Meta about bookings you make in this browser. If you booked through another booking platform, email us and we won’t share your bookings with Meta. To control how Meta uses data for the ads you see, use the ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram account. For anything else, see our privacy policy or email hello@tinygrandadventures.com.
